1.  How do I register or log on? You can do this by entering the site and on the right side of the screen you will see Your Account.  There you will be prompted to create your own username and password- make sure you keep it written down, just in case you forget it at a later date. 

2.  How do I post an Ad? Once you've logged on to the site, click on the Classifieds button (left side of the screen). Scroll down the page to find Write Ad.  Click on this and fill out all of the necessary information. You can choose what area you want to post an ad at this point, using the drop down category bar:

4. How do I enter an event on sjkid's calendar? Click on the What's Happening? button (left side of the screen).  There you will see sjkid's calendar of events.  You can view events by day or by month. To submit an event (you will need to view the monthly option for the calendar), click on the plus sign in the top corner of the date you wish to post an event.  There you can fill out an event submission form.  Your event will only be shown on this site if it is approved by our site moderators. Please allow 2 business days for an email response.  Note:  You will need to register on the sjkid website to post new events.  If you are not logged into the site, then your event will not be submitted.

5.  What can I do if I lost my login information? Enter the Your Account section (located on upper right side of the screen).  Once there, you can scroll down, you will find a Lost Password? prompt.  Click on this and it will ask you your username and your e-mail address.  There you will click on the Send Password button.  You will receive your information via e-mail.

6.  How can I advertise with sjkid.com? 

Text Ads:

•  You may choose what to put in your text ad but the following information is most helpful to viewers:  name of business, address, website and brief description of what the business is about.

• Approximately 30 words will show up on the text ad.  

• Limit is 1000 words for extra information that a viewer may see about your business once they have clicked on your ad.  Photos may also be added.  For a business that does not have a website, this is extremely valuable and is essentially a free website for your business.

• Text ads will be placed on the page after the funds have been received in full.

Banner Ads:

• sjkid.com has a contract with a reputable graphic designer.  The cost for a banner ad design is $30.00.  Once the banner ad is created, the banner will belong to your company.  (This is extremely cheap when looking at the hourly cost of a graphic designer).  You may also opt to design the banner ad yourself or to hire another graphic designer.

• sjkid.com will have final call on quality of images. You may be asked to resubmit.

• If you are submitting images for another person/organization, please ensure you have permission to do so. Once paid and posted, no refund will be issued.

• If creating your own banner ad, please email for the measurement requirements.   

• Please submit web links only (ie: http://)
