HFHCA (Healthy Families, Healthy Communities Association) is a non-profit organization that emerged out of an apparent need to link families with each other and with the community of the Greater Fredericton Area.   On Sept 29, 2008, the organization expanded to the Greater Saint John Area with the resource www.sjkid.com. 

HFHCA has a fredkid Board of Directors and an sjkid Board of Directors.  These boards are comprised of committed parents, all of whom are local residents with children who are passionate about finding ways to make their communities more family friendly.

The driving philosophy of HFHCA is that when parents are connected to each other and to their city, stronger, healthier families and communities emerge.  Its mandate is to enhance the quality of life of families, by providing parents and caregivers of young children with the tools and resources to make informed, healthy choices.
