Has anyone gone to any of the public skates at the local arenas? We recently went to one and it was great fun. DS really liked skating to music. They are free on weekdays and only $1 on weekends.

We only Connor skating once, and ti was at Lily Lake. Then he got sick, and we haven't done anything since. I've printed off their schedule, so I'm making the attempt!

There is an outdoor rink in K-Park that we took the kids to for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it was nice because there was not a lot of people there to get in the kids way. I find going to the rink is too crowded and DD does not do well with crowds lately

I go to the Gorman often & find it extremely packed. I prefer going to Lily Lake where you have room to skate.
