We are offering programs for children and families. A chance for the children to play, learn some songs, have fun with Arts and Crafts.
Moms and Dads can enjoy some casual conversation. Join us on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:00 am. Theme-based stories, songs, fingerplays, and lots of crayons too! Ages 3-5; younger children welcome with an adult.

Saint John Free Public Library, 1 Market Square From June 10 to October 3 children are invited to follow Caillou, the popular character created by Editions Chouette, in his adventures through the pages of a giant interactive book read to them in English, French or Innu. A play area with a replica of an Innu camp, including an Innu tent, costumes, games, and authentic objects will carry children off to a fascinating world full of Innu traditions. (Bilingual)
Hey Kids! A special Caillou and the Innu family afternoon will be held at the New Brunswick Museum, Market Square in partnership with the Saint John Free Public Library on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 from 2-4 pm. Regular admission. Free for members. The lineup for this fun afternoon will include: - The NBM staff will have interactive and fun crafts. - Join Library staff in the Museum's Hall of Great Whales for a special story time about the Innu, and Caillou's adventures! - Kids can dress up like Caillou! - Don't miss out on a piece of Caillou cake and refreshments! This exhibit has been produced by the Montreal Biodome in collaboration with Editions Chouette, the Ekuanitshit Innu community, the Institut Culturel et Educatif Montagnais (ICEM), and Friends of the Montreal Biodome (SABM); with the support of Heritage Canada. Caillou and the Innu continues at the New Brunswick Museum, Market Square until October 3, 2010.
